Amathounta Municipality chooses Novoville for its digital transformation

Novoville has signed a five-year contract with Amathounta Municipality, marking another decisive step in our growth journey in Cyprus.This agreement is of particular importance to us. The new Amathounta Municipality, located in the Eastern Limassol district, is the fifth largest municipality in the country. It was formed through the merger of two former municipalities and eight communities, including the former Municipality of Yermasoyia — where, in 2022, we implemented our very first partnership in Cyprus.
What began as a pilot collaboration has now evolved into a long-term strategic partnership with tangible and measurable impact.
The new contract builds on the highly successful implementation of our parking management system and digital enforcement system, significantly expanding the scope of services provided.
Parking management and sustainable mobility solutions (Park & Ride) will now extend across the entire territory of the new Municipality, while a fully integrated ecosystem of digital services will holistically support its digital transformation strategy, including:
• Citizen requests & e-applications
• E-payments & e-permits
• Digital enforcement system for the municipal police
• Garbage collection management
• Interactive consultations & participatory tools
• IoT sensors for monitoring accessibility for people with disabilities
• Smart lighting & urban monitoring
With more than 16,000 active users on the Novoville platform and thousands of digital transactions processed each month, this new partnership will substantially accelerate Amathounta Municipality’s digital transformation towards its strategic vision: to become the first fully digital Municipality in Cyprus, delivering enhanced services to citizens, strengthening data-driven decision-making, and fostering an advanced model of participatory governance.
